This tool publishes our laptops on Wallapop. You prepare and check the listings here, and
the server does the publishing.

How it works
You work in this website: the pallets, the titles, the prices, the queue. You can open it
from any computer.
The server does the publishing. It holds the photos and it posts to Wallapop. You
never have to touch it — you just tell it what to publish and it gets on with it.
The green dot at the top means the server is running. Red means it is not, and nothing
will publish until it is back.
Signing in
You get a username and a password. Sign in once and the browser remembers you for a month.
Once, when a new pallet arrives
- Open the Pallets tab.
- Press Add pallet files and pick the pallet file (
.xlsx). You can select several at once. - They load in a second.
The tool reads every unit in the pallet and remembers its specs and price. You only do
this when a new pallet arrives — not every day.
The spreadsheet itself never leaves your computer. Your browser reads it and sends only
the rows, so even a 150-unit pallet is tiny.
It handles both kinds of pallet on its own — the old WINDOWS files and the new
single-sheet format. You don't have to say which is which.
Check a SKU
Also in the Pallets tab. Type a reference and it shows you exactly what would be
published: the title, the price and the full description. Nothing is published or queued —
it's just a way to check before you commit.
Every day
- Rename the photos the way you always do:
W4441.1.jpg, W4441.2.jpg, W4441.3.jpg …
SKU first, then a dot, then the photo number. .1 is the main photo.
- Open the Today tab and pick the day folder from the dropdown. It only lists folders
that have renamed photos in them.
- Press Prepare listings.
- Look through the cards. Fix anything flagged.
- Press Approve on each one you want up, or Approve all ready for the lot.
Then you're done. The server publishes them one at a time, waiting 8 to 17 minutes between
each, up to 15 a day.
The three kinds of card
Green — Ready. Everything the listing needs is there. Check the title, the price and
the specs against the machine, then approve.
Amber — Already published. This SKU has gone up before, and it says when. Usually a
unit that was sold, returned, and is being listed again — that's fine, press
Publish anyway. It records who pressed it.
Red — Needs a look. Something is missing and the tool will not guess. Usually a blank
PANTALLA in the pallet, or a pallet with no sale price column yet. Type the missing
value in the box on the card and it turns green.
A card can also carry a warning without being blocked — for example *"Price is only 14 € —
check it's not a typo"*.
What it will never do
- Invent a spec. A blank in the pallet becomes a red card, never a guess.
- Publish the same SKU twice without asking you first.
- Press Destacar producto — that one costs money.
- Delete a listing. Ever.
Test mode
When test mode is on, the server does everything exactly as normal — opens the form,
uploads the photos, fills the title, the description, the price, the dropdowns — and then
stops without publishing. It sends back a screenshot of the finished form.
Nothing goes on Wallapop. Look at the screenshot, check every field, and you know the
listing is right. A banner at the top of the page tells you when test mode is on.
When something goes wrong
A card says Failed. Open it — there's the reason and a screenshot of what the server
was looking at. Press Try again, or fix the data and re-approve. One failure never
stops the rest of the run.
"Wallapop is logged out." Everything stops until the session is restored. Tell Lucas.
This might happen once every few months.
The dot is red. The server is off or has no internet. Nothing is lost — the queue waits.
Wallapop changed their page. The tool stops on that product and says which field it
could not find, with a screenshot. It never guesses and clicks the wrong thing. Send the
screenshot to Lucas; it's usually a quick fix.
Apple
Apple products are blocked for now. The old Apple pallets have their RAM and storage
columns in different places from file to file, so nothing can be trusted automatically.
Apple SKUs show up as red cards saying so. iPads and iPhones also need different
categories than Portátiles, which is a separate job.
The daily limits
- 15 listings a day.
- 8 to 17 minutes between listings, randomized.
- One at a time. Two uploads can never run at once.
These can be changed in Settings.
